The NCM Facility
NCM is a 10,000 sq. ft. production facility that allows for the creation of a variety of projects. It can be also be used for teaching workshops, town halls and discussions, holding events, and more. Explore our website and discover this amazing community resource.
Studio A
Is our 2,000 square feet space features a 20’x8’ stage, a roll-up door for easy access, a variety of lighting options, tables for meetings, a podium, screen, sound system, and several projector set-ups. The room can seat a maximum of 100 and is perfect for speaker and discussion events, workshops, movie screenings, and more. This space also features a 30’ wide and 16’ greenscreen for collaboration productions.
The studio is available 24/7 for members.
Studio B
Is our 500 square foot studio that features a 14' wide x 9' tall greenscreen, dual 4K cameras, a teleprompter, lighting, and various audio solutions. This is a fixed studio, which means the lighting, main camera, and audio setup can not be moved. The studio can be used for both video and audio projects by members, and is the perfect set up for interview shows, informational videos, tutorials, podcasts, narrative projects, and more. The studio is available 24/7.

Prop Shop
The NCM Prop Shop is not only a place to create props but it is also our set for many shows. It is also the place we conduct a variety of classes. This space includes a variety of tools to do some very creative things.

Video Tech Museum
The Video Tech Museum is one of the coolest places in Nevada County. Filled with the video tech history of our area, this space is a total of 2,000 sq ft and can host a variety of gatherings.
Lounge
The Media Lounge isn't just a place to hang out and collaborate, it is also a filming location. From cooking shows to interviews, our lounge offers a variety of filming backdrops.

This is a PC-based edit bay that can be used for video and audio editing, as well as audio recording for a variety of projects. This Windows-based computer supports USB 3.0, a 4-channel mixer, a portable audio recorder, and mics. The software includes Adobe Creative Suite, Audacity, Gimp, and more.

Video Control Room
The video control room is the heart of NCM. A variety of cameras and inputs can be patched in from around the facility (and from the outside) to create a "live" edit, which can be recorded or streamed to YouTube, Facebook, Cable, and more.
This room can only be operated by NCM staff. Producers are encouraged to utilize this resource to create projects by working with the NCM team.

Audio Control Room
This room is designed to be used in conjunction with Studio B or as a stand-alone editing room. It includes a multi-channel audio mixer, as well as other equipment to create a professional multi-channel project.
