Nevada County Media is a place to create, collaborate, and learn.
NCM is a media hub and production facility available for our community to utilize. It has an Academy to learn and the tools to create some amazing projects. NCM also has a production team and mobile studio that is available for hire. We can help produce, direct, and edit on a variety of projects (both in and out of the studio).
NCM turns concepts into projects and shares them with the world. As a 501c3 nonprofit, donations to NCM are tax deductible. You can join our team as a volunteer, intern, or member to contribute to your community's growth and success.
NCM is home to 10,000 square feet of collaboration and creation spaces.
Our facility is an amazing production and event space. You will find audio studios, greenscreen studios, a prop shop, private editing rooms, a museum, ample parking, high-speed internet, plenty of production lighting, cameras, audio equipment, and more. Come for a tour and check us out!
Hire our Crew
Our crew is available for hire for a variety of projects, both in and out of the studio. From multi-camera “live” edited and streamed events to documentary and commercial pieces. Our team is talented in both production and post-production. Hire us for part or all of a project.
The NCM Academy is a great way to learn.
NCM has numerous monthly classes and hands on projects to help learn a variety of media skills. Learn the basics, then jump into a hands-on project to excel your skills. NCM has a variety of opportunities to learn film, video, and audio. Visit the What’s Happening tab to discover more.
Watch Local!
NCM manages several local cable, audio, and on-demand channels. The content is created by the in-house NCM team and by our community. NCM also curates content from outside sources to create a diverse viewing and listening experience.
NCM provides a variety of viewing and listening options. From traditional TV to watch and listen anywhere, anytime. You don’t need cable TV to enjoy local programming. Visit the Watch Now tab and discover more.
