If you are looking to get involved with your community and don’t mind being on camera…..then this may just the thing you are looking for. NCM is looking for several people as hosts for a new daily news program. This program will become the premiere video news program for our community with your help.

• Main News Host - the “host” role is the person that is delivering the program to the audience. They deliver a variety of information, introduce and chat with guests, introduce fellow hosts, and can even help find and craft stories. Our host positions include regular and guest positions.

• Weather Host - This role is delivering more than how hot or cold it is. They will also be delivering other information that is tied to the weather.

• Sports Host - This role will be delivering information about our local teams, as well as chatting with players and various athletes. They will also be engaging with the main host.

• Entertainment Host - This role will be specific to music, movies, and events (we are seeking several people). This role will be delivering information about up and coming items, as well as engaging with a variety of individuals.

• Foodie Host - This role will be sharing information about local eateries. It may include chatting with a variety of people.

• Recreation Host - This role will be sharing a variety of information about our local recreation. They will be chatting with a variety of people.

• “Man-on-the-Streets” (Actually this can be a man or women) - Do you like going places? Talking to folks? Sharing information? If so, this is a super fun and easy role. Essentially you are reporting on things from the streets of the community. It may require an occosional in the studio appearance.

Please do not wear green, this will be an on camera casting call.

Volunteers receive a free membership and hours are eligible for our volunteer swap program.
