Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative, organized, and energetic Events & Engagement Coordinator to design, plan, and execute a wide range of events and interactive activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute events, workshops, and interactive activities from start to finish

• Develop creative themes, formats, and engagement strategies tailored to target audiences

• Coordinate logistics including scheduling, materials, vendors, and staffing

• Manage event timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery

• Lead on-site event execution, including possibly filing in as emcee

• Ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for participants

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance event quality and reach

• Collaborate with the NCM team to create promotion for said events

• Gather feedback and evaluate event success to continuously improve future programming

• Stay up to date with trends in events, engagement strategies, and interactive experiences

Qualifications:

• Experience in event planning, program coordination, or a related field

• Excellent stage/camera presence

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging, interactive experiences

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings or weekends

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with conducting workshops and community events for all ages

Job Title: Sales Representative - NOW HIRING

Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Sales Representative to promote and sell the full range of products and services offered by our organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with businesses, organizations, and individuals and who can understand their marketing needs to deliver creative media solutions that help them grow. Key Responsibilities:

• Actively sell all media, marketing, and creative services offered by Nevada County Media

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners

• Consult with clients to understand their goals and recommend customized media and marketing solutions

• Present packages and pricing options to potential clients

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

• Collaborate with internal creative and production teams to ensure client expectations are met

• Manage client connections ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business

• Represent the organization at events, meetings, and community functions

Program Producer/Operator

NCM is always looking for the right people to join our team. This position must have strong computer, organizational, and communication skills, as well as reliable transportation. This position is mostly off-site at three locations within a 10 mile radius of the studio. It is a part time position that requires some flexability. Currently all during the week (no weekends).

This position will be involved in technical operation for all of our local government meetings. It includes operating the equipment, troubleshooting if needed, communicating issues and needs, and having a keen eye for the details. Pay will be based on experience.

Creator/Educator/Production Supervisor

NCM is always looking for the right people to join our team. This position must have strong computer, organizational, and communication skills, as well as production & post production experience. Must have reliable transportation.

This position will be involved in a variety of projects and activities, both in and out of the studio. They include creating scripts, editing, helping interns, producing, directing, and operating a variety of equipment. Pay and hours will be based on experience.
