Join the Nevada County Media Community Movie Project, a free, year-long creative experience that brings community members together to make a movie from start to finish! Whether you're interested in writing, acting, filming, directing, or working behind the scenes, this is the perfect project for you. No experience necessary—just bring your creativity, enthusiasm, and willingness to collaborate. Learn new skills, meet fellow creatives, and help bring a community-made movie to life!
What to expect
On this day & time each month we review the project, discuss script ideas, view content, and hand out assignments. This project is designed so that everyone in the community can participate. The following is our schedule:
January - Writing & Script Adjustments
February - Pre Production, including table readings and assignment creation
March thru August - Recording & Content Submission
Sept thru Oct - Editing & Finishing
Nov - Viewing Event TBD
Individuals under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Individuals can jump into this project at any point.
THIS IS AN OUTSIDE THE BOX PROJECT AND IS A UNIQUE WAY TO MAKE A FILM. COME WITH AN OPEN MIND!
