Digital Story Project

Do you have an original story? Want to include it in a local digital creation?

This project allows local storytellers to join efforts to put out a digital collection. The stories all have to be originals and a master must be submitted to Nevada County Media. NCM does offer low cost help to create a digital story if you need help.

NCM will combine all of the stories in our digital download list, where people can download the ones they want. Artwork is either created or supplied by the story creator. Stories are grouped to age ranges and type. A description of each story is provided.

In addition, we bring each of the participants onto the Nevada County Now program to chat about their story. All participating receive a portion of the sales of the downloads.

We take submissoins throughout the year for a February distribution. Stories are due by January 1st, 2027
