Music Album Project

Do you have an original song? Want to include it in a local album?

This project allows local musicians to join efforts to put out an album. The songs all have to be originals and a master must be submitted to Nevada County Media. NCM will combine all of the songs on one album and with the help of talented artists, the artwork is created. In addition, we bring each of the participants onto the Nevada County Now program to chat about their music. The album is created and distributed locally for sale, as well as offered as a digital download. All participating artists receive a portion of the sales.

We take submissoins throughout the year for a May distribution. Songs are due by February 1st, 2027
