NCM Highlights Our Community

The projects at NCM range in topic and length but they all have something in common………they all highlight our community and the people within it. These projects are designed to help our interns learn a variety of media skills, while helping share the cool stuff in our community.

The Getting to Know You pieces help highlight a busness or organization, whereas our Hidden Gems and On the Streets projects help highlight places and events. Our Spotlight project highlights artists, musicians, and a variety of interesting people in our community. We even have a few History Tour project that helps highlight our past.

These projects are created by interns with help from volunteer Mentors that help guide them. The voice-overs and hosts are also volunteers from the community. This is a win win for the community.

The NCM team is always on the lookout for interesting stories. Stories that help highlight things that others may not know about but should. Our Seven Hills Bike Shop story is one of those. It’s an amazing story of how young people can make an impact on a community.

So as you explore our creations, know that these are not just stories…..they are our community highlighting our community.
