Did you say improv?

Building a media hub would not have been complete without a large variety of workshops and projects. Acting for the camera has always been on the list to add. Over this last year we have done just that. From scripted dramatic pieces, to comedy skits, to yes even improv. NCM is a great option to try something out or to improve your skills. It is affordable and super low keyed. You can really let your hair down at NCM.

Introduced this month to the lineup are the Improv Workshop, which is a great workshop for beginners. It is one hour of sillyness that teaches you to use your improvisational skills. Next up is a new comedy series based much off of the “Whose Line is it Anyways”. This series is called “Clowning Around” and takes up to four people and bombards them with a series of prompts. Our host won’t hesitate to throw a twist or two in there.

Last month we rolled out “Barely Informed”, a comedy news show that will leave you scratching your head. Think of it as a SNL skit. The anchors can change, and their stories are absurd.

So if laughter is what you need…..these are several projects you can immediately jump into here at NCM. Remember, if we don’t have a program to make you laugh……we have the team that can help you create one!
