Our workshops are open to all in the community and are a great way to learn new skills at an affordable rate. If you prefer one-on-one sessions, please refer to our pricing and contact us to schedule.

  • Summertime Zine Fun

    This 2 hour fun workshop is for all ages. It is a hands-on workshop that teaches how to create a zine. Materials Supplied. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $30

  • Summertime Greenscreen Fun

    This 2 hour fun workshop is for all ages. It is a hands-on workshop that will be teaching how to create affects using a greenscreen. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $30

  • Podcasting Basics

    This 1 hour workshop is a hands-on workshop that will be covering the mechanics of “how to do a podcast”. It will include both the technical and creative information. The workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Cell Phone Filmmaking

    This 1 hour workshop covers a variety of tips and techniques for using your cell phone for film and video projects. You MUST have a cell phone to participate. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Intro to Animated Logos

    This 1 hour workshop covers a variety of techniques for creating animated logos, from both scanned or digitally created images. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Digitizing Your Artwork

    This 1 hour workshop will walk you through techniques of digitizing your artwork, as well as other items. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Presenting to the Camera

    This 1 hour workshop will cover a variety of techniques for presenting information directly to the camera. It is designed to help you overcome your camera fears. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • On Camera Interviewing

    This 1 hour workshop is a hands-on workshop that will cover a variety of techniques for doing interviews on camera. This workshop focuses on both the interviewer and interviewee role. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Understanding YouTube

    This 1 hour workshop covers how to manuever YouTube as both a viewer and a creator. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Voice Over Basics

    This 1 hour workshop is for people just starting out in voice over. It covers a variety of techniques for narrative and commercial voice-overs. Participants will be reading scripts and receive coaching. The workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Character Voice Over

    This 1 hour workshop will be exploring storytelling with the use of character voices. This workshop is different than our Storytelling for kids workshop. This one includes a bit of improv chaos. The workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Scripted Acting

    This 1 hour workshop will be covering a variety of techniques for acting on camera. Participants will be acting in this workshop. Workshop size is limited. This workshop may include you acting in scenes with others. Cost - $15

  • Developing Your Story

    This 1 hour workshop covers how to develop your story for video or audio. Workshop size is limited. Cost - $15

  • Filmmaking Essentials Course

    This multi-week excellerated program includes a combination of lectures, speakers, a variety of materials, advisor help, and assignments. This program that cover both the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking. It also includes a final test and project to receive certification.

  • Studio Certification

    NCM offers a certification class for those who wish to use studio B for DIY creation. Certification is required prior to use. NCM offers a free certification (see calendar). Other times are avaialble at a fee or $25. Registration is not required. Late arrivals are not permitted to attend.
